I stumbled across this again and was filled with gratitude. I know that this is indeed a true witness from an apostle of the Lord that testifies of our Savior's redeeming love for us. As my journey has taken a "detour" over the course of the last year, I am grateful everyday that I have a Father in Heaven that hears and answers every prayer, every plight, every silent pleading of my heart. I love that Elder Wirthlin reiterates that with every tear and sorrow that we endure faithfully and valiantly that our joy and happiness to come will be magnified ever more. I am so grateful for the testimony that I have been able to "rediscover" on my path of life. I look back reflecting on some very poor choices and some things that I wish I could have done so differently. However, I am eternally grateful for the destination I have reached and the opportunity to declare without hestitation that I have been immensly blessed. I don't know what is to come but I do have a faith, hope and overwhelming peace that as my life unfolds that it will take me exactly where my Father intended it to.
Sis....watching you understand and grow in the knowledge that life brings unexpected turns and challenges, but learning to look for the good and realize that these hard things aren't WHO you are but can define your character based on how you travel through those things has been a blessing for me. I am proud of you. Love you!!!
Amen to Shine. And know this... these things only make us stronger. I am so thankful for the twists and turns that I have taken in my life. It brought me to some of the sweetest destinations. I sure love you. Hang in. Know that I am thinking of and praying for you daily. Don't forget to laugh....I'm still convinced it is the BEST medicine. xoxo
LOVE YOU BOTH! Thanks for your continued support, honesty, and encouragement. I have newfound appreciation for both of you and am so glad you are my sisters. I have definately been able to relax and realize I can't control everything which I don't know about the two of you but has been SO HARD for me, I am assuming because of my Hall DNA. :) So true that laughter IS the best medicine hence the Juno texts to both of you late at night......HAHA! Don't think Mom really appreciates my "raw" sense of humor sometimes. xoxo to you both!
